The Arc of Northern Virginia’s “A Life Like Yours” Benefit Breakfast

 The Arc of Northern Virginia is pleased to welcome neXco National as the Official Networking Partner of an important community event on March 9. 

The Arc of Northern Virginia, the nonprofit member of the neXco National Tysons Chapter, is a 60-year-old nonprofit that represents and serves over 39,000 people throughout Northern Virginia with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)—such as autism, Down syndrome, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and rare chromosomal disorders—of all ages and stages of life and their families. (Some programs also serve additional people in all of Virginia, Maryland, and DC.) 

On March 9, The Arc of Northern Virginia will be holding its annual “A Life Like Yours” Benefit Breakfast as part of March’s observance as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, featuring first-hand stories that highlight their mission and impact, told by the families they serve. 

AND, the event includes networking with community leaders, other businesses, and government leaders.  

• Schedule: 7:30-8:00 am – Coffee & Networking; 8:00-9:00 am – Breakfast & Program; Program ends promptly at 9:00 am, but Networking continues among attendees. 
• Cost: FREE. (It is a fundraising event, and guests will be invited to make a donation if they have been inspired, but there is no obligation or minimum donation amount.) 

Opportunities for neXco members: 

1. Attend the Breakfast and join everyone for networking, breakfast, and inspiring stories. 

2. Participate as a Table Captain by inviting strategic contacts to attend AND earn a neXco Referral Point for each guest. Fill your table and receive 9 quarterly points in one morning! 

Table Captain training, templates, and tools are available to make outreach efforts easier and effective.
